With an extensive background in body awareness and healing, I have always been naturally drawn to dancing and singing as a means of freeing my body. My journey began early, traveling the world before starting kindergarten, and my being obviously brigh led me to begin school as the youngest in my class. However, a learning disability and a difficult home life created complex trauma that manifested in bullying and chronic illness. These challenges in school led to risky behavior, with dance being my only solace. I was a promising dancer, but as a teenager, my struggles culminated in a near-fatal car accident.During the year I spent recovering in bed from a traumatic brain injury and temporary paralysis due to nerve damage, I taught myself breathwork, yoga, and meditation. These practices became a gateway to my understanding of healing. My father, a physical therapist, deeply influenced my lifelong learning and natural abilities as a healer.Over the years, I’ve studied with many master teachers in a variety of modalities, working intuitively on both a physical and energetic level. I honor the body’s traumas, injuries and pain through deep communication, always listening to its innate ability to heal. My work is rooted in this profound connection and respect for the healing process.
